We had the most amazing day... from the 1st moment we met Rue, I knew that we'd chosen the best person to organise our wedding. Efficient in every way and friendly.

I'm actually going to miss our emails. I would recommend Sun & Snow weddings whole heartedly. Her contacts, locally, are valuable to her business and it's this rapport (which she has built on many years experience) that make her better than the rest.
Any worries I had were dealt with. On the day her team were so organised, efficient and professional. Seriously can't fault them at all. The hidden chapel is astoundingly beautiful and Thalassa (who held our reception) were faultless... we had a wedding party of 40-and every single person loved it.

Dear Rue and your fantastic team,

That's us back home and settling into married life.
We just want to say a massive, huge thank you for all your wonderful hard work.
Our wedding day was everything and more we have ever dreamt of.

From the very first email we knew straight away we wanted you to help us plan our wedding day. You were so helpful and always there to answer any of our questions weather big or small and we never had to wait for a reply.

Not only did you look after us, you looked after and saw that all 47 of our guests were ok and made sure they were in the right places at the right time.

Only regret we have is not being able to thank you in person and meet you again before we left. But on the plus side we have an excuse to come back or even see you in the snow xxxxxxxx

Please pass on our thanks to Lari and jenny too. We went back to Asteria every day for a drink to see Katarina, Tanya & Costas. We called in on Friday morning to say bye, wow that was emotional. I'm so glad we listened to you and didn't choose anywhere else. They were simply amazing. As was the flowers, cake (I think I ate a whole tier myself ) Sami, oh just everything, I could go on and on lol.

Everything was just so perfect, we are still speechless and overwhelmed.

We cannot thank you enough for helping us to make our dreams come true.

Hope you are well! We have the DVD which is amazing, please thank Haris so much from us and also Sami for the photos, the memories they have allowed us to have with their fantastic work is totally priceless :)!

Having watched the DVD it brings the day completely back and I don't feel we could ever thank you and Jenny enough for everything you did to make our day so very brilliant, you two ladies work so very hard to ensure that a wedding day runs like clock work! Even though you do 100s of weddings the excitement and passion you both have for each and every wedding really shows you are in the right job....! There is no doubt if any of our friends choose a similar option for their wedding day they will be in contact with you ladies!
For 2 solid years replying to the stupidest email from me was never too much trouble, U always replied within 24 hours and was always so reassuring!
From the first time we met you at Royal heights in 2014 when we wandered up, you were on the phone, you were talking to someone about a car and your words were "I don't care what's happened just get me a white car" with that I looked at Dan and said " I love her, we have to have her"! And without any doubt in my mind u certainly proved we made the right choice above and beyond!
I'm going to be lost not emailing you everyday, I will send you the odd update to let you know how things are, if we return to RHR next year we will certainly have to meet for a wine or 2 :)! Our uk party is next weekend, I will fill you in on everything that happens there also.... As many things can't happen in England as when we were in Crete... Can they lol!!?

Hi Rue

Now we are back in the UK and getting settled into married life, I thought it was time to say thank you, thank you, thank you.
After our commitment ceremony that you organised four years ago in Crete, it was only you that we wanted to organise our wedding.

From our first communication, you were just wonderful, taking us step by step with the legal paperwork to speaking with the restaurant about the reception and everything inbetween. You answered all my questions, however silly they sounded, professionally and honestly.
On meeting us in Crete, we went to the venues and even visited a beautiful village where we agreed more photographs would be taken and eventually sitting down with a cold drink and discussing our vows. You were amazing coming up with ideas what we had not even thought about.
The day before the ceremony, we met the wonderful Jenny who took us along to Malia to meet the Mayor and yourself to do the final legal paperwork. Everything ran so smoothly.
On the day, you arrived with my wedding flowers before going to the restaurant to decorate it for us and wow, when I saw what you did, I cried with pure delight especially seeing the photographs of my mum and Neal's dad on a special separate table smiling up at us. In fact, on seeing that, I think all our guest's eyes were filling up.
And what can I say about Sami, the photographer? Amazing, amazing, amazing. He even went with some of my ideas for the photographs. He caught the whole day on camera and there is not one bad photograph. How can we chose which photographs to have printed for an album when every one of the 362 photographs taken are so beautiful?
Every single second of the day was better then we could ever have imagined. You are your team made sure of that and we cannot thank you enough.
Thank you again Rue... you are truly amazing and we love you for being that way. Keep doing what you do so well and that is making couples happy.

Dear Rue,
Where do I start!
From the moment I emailed you, everything went smoothly. You and your team did an absolutely fabulous job. You made us feel like we were the only wedding couple you were dealing with – we could not have found anyone more perfect to help us plan our day.

The whole day was better than we expected and all our guests commented on the perfection to every little detail and that it was by far the best wedding they had been to!!

After meeting you, I knew we wouldn’t have a thing to worry about (and I think that is why I didn’t have a nervous bone on the Big Day!)

Avli is the most beautiful restaurant we have been to and the food matched. I don’t think anyone left any food – apart from Lucas due to him falling asleep!

The photographer, Sami, was great. We could not have wished for better photos. He was amazing! My only regret is not having the day videoed as it went so fast – there are still things we keep remembering!

I wish we could do it all again. We can’t thank you and your amazing team enough – it was absolutely perfect. Hopefully, we will be returning to Crete soon so would be lovely to meet for a drinks or to Lapland in the winter!

Hi Rue

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner but it was a whirlwind with visitors etc when we got home. Just back to work and enjoying the rest lol.

Both Andy and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the work both yourself and Jenny did to make our wedding spectacular! I cannot express how much we all enjoyed the day and the ceremony was absolutely amazing! I have just signed into drop box and let my friends at work see the photos and they were amazed. One of my friends just said that if she ever gets married she will be in touch!

Right from the start of the day to the finish the wedding was exactly how we imagined it and the fact that we didn't have to worry about anything made our day. We especially enjoyed after the ceremony when the guests went on to the reception we got 10 minutes on our own to reflect on our day so far.

Please tell Dina we were overwhelmed with the quality of the photos as they were exactly what I wanted. She caught peoples faces when they didn't realise they were being photographed and they are some of the best photos.

I am really sorry I didn't manage to catch up with you before we left to thank you personally as you have no idea what the day meant to us and how you provided our dream wedding. I would recommend your company to anyone looking to get married in Crete or Finland, and you never know we may end up in Finland one day for a marriage blessing!

It was lovely to meet your husband, please thank him for all the help with the wedding too.

The venue for the reception was AMAZING, and the staff were so friendly and warm. We had hoped to get back into the tavern for a meal but never found the time. Please tell them all at Asteria thank you so much. The Greek musicians were amazing also.

The rest of our holiday was very busy lol as we packed a lot into our stay.

Once again thank you so much to you and your team. I am so glad Andy and I found you as we would never have had the wedding of our dreams otherwise. I just can't put into words how thankful we are for all your amazing work Rue!

Hi Rue

Sorry for taking so long sending you this message, the summer seems to have flown by and our wonderful wedding in Plaka seems light years away now. So we are sending our belated thank you’s for everything you did for us, right from the beginning when we had no idea what getting married abroad entailed right through to our perfect day in June.

We were able to put our complete trust in you when it came to all the legal “stuff” that needed doing in the UK beforehand with your step by step guide. Even when there was an administrative hick up at this end that cost us a few weeks, you reassured us that all would be fine and everything would be done in time and of course it was.

Our wedding was always intended to be quiet and personal, there were just the four of us, us and our two best friends as our witnesses, but you and Jenny made it just as special as if there had been 100 guests.

The little chapel on the hill overlooking Spinalonga was everything we had dreamed of when we were searching for a suitable venue and was just right for a small wedding.

Thank Sami too for all the great photos!

Thank you for organising the private boat trip after the ceremony, it was lovely to relax with a bit of a breeze after the searing temperature of the day and enjoy being waited on with champagne, it was a perfect interlude between the ceremony and our meal.

As for our meal, thank you for recommending the wonderful Thalassa restaurant, Nikos looked after us perfectly and again made four of us feel as special as if we had been a big party. A perfect end to a perfect day.

We are planning to return for our first anniversary next June and revisit both the chapel and the Thalassa; hopefully we may get to see you as well.

Just wanted to thank Rue & Jenny for their kindness, thoughtful touches & positivity and Sami for his patience & our brilliant photos - Even Carl is amazed at how many were captured of me laughing and smiling - he says he’s been trying for 6 years lol.
